How do I sign up?

Click "Get Started" on the home page and follow the prompts. You can register with your email address or sign in with Google. Once you're in, you'll land on your trips dashboard and can create your first trip immediately.

Yes — TripSyncPro is free for individuals and groups. You can create trips, invite members, vote, and build itineraries at no cost. We may introduce optional premium features in the future, but the core planning experience will always be free.

What kinds of trips can I plan?

TripSyncPro is purpose-built for theme park and attraction-based trips. You can research parks, hotels, and rides; vote as a group on what to do; build a day-by-day itinerary; and share resources — all in one shared workspace.

How do I create a new trip?

From your trips dashboard, click "New Trip" and give it a name and optional travel dates. You'll become the organizer of that trip automatically and can start inviting others right away.

How do I invite people to my trip?

There are two ways to invite people. You can share the unique invite link for your trip — anyone who opens it and signs in will join automatically. Alternatively, organisers can send direct email invitations from the trip settings page.

What happens when someone clicks my invite link?

If they already have a TripSyncPro account and are signed in, they join the trip immediately. If they don't have an account, they're prompted to sign up first and then join. Once joined, they can access all trip content.

What is the difference between an organizer and a member?

Organisers created the trip (or were promoted) and can manage trip settings, rename the trip, change travel dates, regenerate or disable the invite link, and remove members. Regular members can view all trip content, vote, contribute to the itinerary, and add resources — but cannot change settings.

Can I be in more than one trip at a time?

Yes. You can belong to as many trips as you like. Your trips dashboard shows all of them. You can switch between trips from the sidebar inside any trip.

How do I leave a trip?

Open the trip settings and select "Leave Trip". If you're the only organiser, you'll need to promote another member to organiser first before leaving, so the trip isn't left without an admin.

What happens to a trip when the organizer deletes their account?

Organiser rights are automatically transferred to the next longest-standing member of the trip. If you were the only member, the trip is deleted along with your account.

How does voting on destinations work?

The organiser adds candidate destinations (parks, attractions) to the trip. Each member can then cast votes — thumbs up, thumbs down, or neutral — on each option. The votes tab shows a live tally so the whole group can see where consensus is forming.

Yes. You can update your vote at any time while the trip is active. The totals update in real time for everyone in the trip.

Images sourced from Wikimedia Commons include a credit linking to the original source page. We include the photographer's name where available so you can explore their work.

What is the itinerary builder?

The itinerary is a shared day-by-day plan for your trip. Any member can add, edit, or reorder items — parks to visit, meal reservations, departure times, and so on. Everyone sees changes in real time, so the plan is always up to date.

How does the recommendations engine work?

TripSyncPro looks at the group's votes and individual preference profiles to surface the parks and experiences most likely to satisfy everyone. It balances preferences across the whole group, not just the most vocal members.

Each member can fill out a short preference profile for a trip — things like thrill-ride tolerance, accessibility needs, young children in the group, or preferred type of experience. These feed directly into the recommendations engine.

Yes. The Resources tab lets any member paste links to YouTube videos, blog posts, official park maps, or any other URL. Each resource is saved with a title and thumbnail so the group can browse them easily.

You can copy and share the trip's invite link with anyone you want to join the trip. For people who just need to view a finalised plan, the organiser can export a summary from the trip settings page.

How do I reset my password?

On the sign-in page, click "Forgot password?" and enter your email. You'll receive a reset link. If you signed up with a social login (e.g. Google), password reset is managed through that provider.

Yes. You can enable 2FA from your account settings. We support authenticator apps (TOTP). Enabling 2FA is strongly recommended to protect your account.

We store your account profile (name, email, avatar) via Google authentication; trips you've created or joined and your membership role; votes you've cast; preference profiles; itinerary items and resources you've added; and cookie consent records. We do not sell or share your data with advertisers.

Can I download a copy of my data?

Yes. Go to Account → Privacy & Data and click "Download My Data". You'll receive a JSON file containing all the personal data TripSyncPro holds about you, in compliance with GDPR and similar regulations.

Go to Account → Privacy & Data and click "Delete My Account". You'll need to confirm by typing DELETE. Your data is retained for 30 days (giving you a recovery window), then permanently erased. If you're the only organiser of any trips, admin rights are transferred to the next member automatically.

What happens to my trips when I delete my account?

Trips where you're the organizer will have organizer rights transferred to the next member. Trips where you're the only member will be permanently deleted along with your account after the 30-day recovery window.

Can I recover my account after requesting deletion?

Yes — you have a 30-day window. Sign back in and go to Account → Privacy & Data where you'll see a "Cancel Deletion & Recover Account" option. After 30 days the deletion is irreversible.
